There’s a pattern I have noticed in remote work: one day you get a lot of work done, and then the other day, you feel unproductive and are unable to do any task. This is probably because of your cluttered schedule. Remote workers mostly have flexible working hours with no time limit; they are considered a good employee as long as they are meeting deadlines.
You should have a schedule that can enhance your productivity. Some examples of a good schedule are that waking up on time (I’d say at least 2 hours before clocking in), having breakfast, walking your pet out (if any), basically anything that you can get done in those two hours before you have to sign in.
You should also be aware of your non-working hours; when you feel unproductive, have other chores to do, or need to run other errands. Determine your focused hours to be productive and make a priority list so that it’s easier for you to complete everything on time.
